About Us

AEPi at Kent State was first colonized in April of 1949 making it the 3rd fraternity on campus. Due to the Vietnam War, greek life was week and fraternities were struggling so AEPi went inactive. It was not until 1978 when there was an intrest to re-activate the chapter. There was an alumnus of the chapter, who was a field representitive of nationals. This brother still held the charter, which lead to a re-chartered Alpha Epsilon Pi chapter at kent State in April of 1979. Since that time AEPi has been active on Kent's campus and has gone through 8 different house. The 8th house was the first in 20 years to be lettered.
